What the label says
Keep in the refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C) in the original carton. If needed, a pen or vial can stay unrefrigerated at up to 86°F (30°C) for up to 21 days. Don't freeze it, and don't use it if it has been frozen.
Traveling with it
- Keep it in your carry-on, not checked bags, where temperatures can swing.
- Bring it in the original labeled package. TSA allows medicines and cooling packs through screening.
- Up to 21 days at or below 86°F (30°C) is the label's limit outside the fridge.
- More tips: traveling with GLP-1 pens.
If it froze or got too hot
Don't use it if it has been frozen or kept outside the label's temperature range. Ask your pharmacist about a replacement.
