Our ad placement rules
When ads are turned on, they will follow these rules on every page:
- Never inside a "Talk to your doctor" box.
- Never inside a label-fact table or a dose schedule.
- Never next to calculator inputs, where they could be clicked by accident.
- Each ad slot keeps a fixed size so the page doesn't jump while you read.
Who chooses the ads
Ads will be served by Google. We don't choose individual ads. Google requires advertisers of prescription medicines to be certified, but an ad appearing here is not an endorsement. Our writers and reviewers never see ad deals, and ads have no influence on what we publish.
Affiliate links
We may add affiliate links later, for products like smart scales, protein and fitness trackers. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Any page with an affiliate link will say so near the top, as the FTC requires.
- Telehealth affiliates will be limited to programs that prescribe FDA-approved medicines.
- We will never partner with, promote or rank compounded-drug sellers.
Sponsored content
We run none. If that ever changes, sponsored pages will be clearly labeled and kept separate from our reviewed health content.
