About Sunny Weigh

We build calculators that show their work, for people dieting, training or taking a GLP-1 medicine.

What Sunny Weigh is

Sunny Weigh is "the math of losing weight." Most weight-loss advice hides the arithmetic. We put it on the page: your calorie needs, your protein floor, your step distance, your dose calendar, each with the formula and your own numbers filled in.

AI summaries can explain what a medicine does. They can't work out a titration calendar from your start date or a protein target for your goal weight. That personal math is what we build.

Who it's for

  • People cutting calories or training who want honest numbers instead of guesses.
  • People starting or taking a GLP-1 medicine such as Zepbound, Wegovy, Ozempic or Mounjaro, who want to understand doses, side effects and costs between appointments.
  • Caregivers, coaches and clinicians who want a clear tool to share.

The two jobs we do

1. Calculators. TDEE, BMR, calorie deficit, macros, protein, water, steps, BMI, body fat, pace, heart rate zones and more. They run instantly in your browser with no sign-up and no email gate. See all calculators.

2. GLP-1 tools and guides. Dose schedules, side-effect timelines, weight-loss projections from published trials, and cost comparisons. Every drug fact links to its FDA label on DailyMed or to the trial paper.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell medicine, and we don't prescribe.
  • We don't give dosing advice beyond what the FDA label says. Your prescriber decides your dose.
  • We don't promote, rank or review compounded-drug sellers.
  • We aren't affiliated with Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk or any other drug maker. Brand names appear only to identify the medicines.

How we make money

Today, we don't. The site is pre-launch and has no ads or affiliate links running.

We plan to show display ads under strict placement rules: never inside a "Talk to your doctor" box, never inside label-fact tables and never near calculator inputs. We may later add affiliate links for products like smart scales, protein and fitness trackers, and for telehealth programs that prescribe FDA-approved medicines only. Any page with an affiliate link will say so clearly. Read our ads and affiliates policy.

Who's behind it

Sunny Weigh is written and maintained by the Sunny Weigh editorial team. Editors draft pages from primary sources, own the sources list and keep the re-check calendar. Developers build the calculators, and every formula change goes back to a clinician for sign-off.

Our clinical reviewers

Drug pages are reviewed by a licensed MD, DO or PharmD. Nutrition tools are reviewed by a registered dietitian. We're onboarding reviewers now.

When a reviewer signs off, the page will show their name, credentials, license state and the review date. Until then, health pages show a "Clinician review pending" label. We won't publish a reviewer's name until they have actually reviewed the page. See how we review.
