Where our facts come from
- FDA prescribing information on DailyMed for doses, warnings and side-effect rates.
- FDA.gov for approvals, safety communications and compounding policy.
- Peer-reviewed trials such as SURMOUNT-1 and STEP 1 for weight-loss results.
- Manufacturer pricing pages for list prices, self-pay prices and savings programs.
- Government health agencies such as NIH, CDC and the Dietary Guidelines for nutrition and activity.
We link the source next to the fact it supports. See the full sources list.
What our health pages will and won't say
- We report label facts and do the math. We never tell you to take a dose or change one.
- Every drug page has a "Talk to your doctor if…" box listing warning signs.
- No before-and-after photos, and no promises about how much weight you will lose.
- Trial results are shown as averages, with a note that individual results vary.
- We don't promote, rank or review compounded-drug sellers. We report their legal status only.
- We write in plain language, around an 8th-grade reading level.
How we use AI
Some drafts and code are written with help from AI tools. AI is never the final word. Every fact is checked by a person against its primary source, and every health page must be reviewed by a licensed clinician before launch.
Independence
Advertisers, affiliates and drug makers have no say over what we write. They don't see pages before publication, and they can't buy a ranking or a review. If we ever run sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled. Today we run none.
Trademarks
Zepbound, Mounjaro, Wegovy, Ozempic, Rybelsus, Saxenda, Victoza and Trulicity are trademarks of their owners. We use these names only to identify the medicines we describe. Sunny Weigh is not affiliated with or endorsed by Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk or any other drug maker.
Updates and corrections
Each page shows the date it was last updated. We re-check content on a fixed calendar, described on how we review, and log corrections publicly on our corrections page.
