What the label says
Before first use, keep in the refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). After first use, the pen can be kept at room temperature (59°F to 86°F) or in the refrigerator for up to 56 days. Keep the cap on and don't freeze.
Traveling with it
- Keep it in your carry-on, not checked bags, where temperatures can swing.
- Bring it in the original labeled package. TSA allows medicines and cooling packs through screening.
- Up to 56 days after first use at 59°F to 86°F (15°C to 30°C) is the label's limit outside the fridge.
- More tips: traveling with GLP-1 pens.
If it froze or got too hot
Don't use it if it has been frozen or kept outside the label's temperature range. Ask your pharmacist about a replacement.
